Local Services Assessment (LSA)

A LSA examines components of the requesting jurisdiction’s criminal justice system. These include the existing jail(s), the law enforcement community, programs that remove individuals from the jail prior to trial or provide community based sentencing options for convicted offenders, and the court system.
